Combating period poverty, one outfit at a time.
Period poverty is on the rise, especially in Lebanon and Egypt. Over 66% of Lebanese women and 50% of Egyptian women face difficulties affording menstrual products. Period poverty means lacking access to menstrual products, education, and facilities, leading to health issues and disrupting daily life. Imagine having to choose between feeding yourself and your family or buying menstrual products—it's an impossible decision.
Here's how YOU are helping
Supporting Women
A percentage of every sale on our website goes towards buying organic menstrual products, which are provided free to women facing period poverty.
We will be partnerning with a different reputable women’s health organization in Lebanon and Egypt to reach diverse communities.
With your purchase, you’re directly helping a woman combat period poverty!
Empowering Through Education
Cremona Studio also offers free in-person and online workshops across Lebanon and Egypt to raise awareness about the menstrual cycle and its four phases.
These workshops create a safe space for women and womb keepers of all ages to learn what they wish they had known in school about their menstrual cycle.
They can share their stories, ask questions, and break the taboos and shame around periods.
Menstrual health has been under-researched for generations—this is our opportunity to turn this taboo into empowerment and reclaim our cycle as our birthright.
With every purchase you make, you’re helping a woman combat period poverty!
